On behalf of the Midsize Enterprise Summit team we would like to wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. We would like to share a few things we are thankful for as this week’s newsletter is arriving on the eve of one of the nation’s most enduring holidays.
We are thankful to all of the CIOs and IT leaders who have attended our MES events this year along with our webinars and other gatherings. Those attendees all gave generously of their time. The greatest gift we received in return was their input on how to make our events better based on the results of extensive post-event surveys. We are thankful that those scores in 2016 were among the highest in the event’s history.
Our MES Board members serve as the voice of the midmarket and carve out a great deal of their time to help shape the event’s content and guide it strategically. Many of the improvements our attendees and sponsors see are the result of the Board’s insight. See all our Board members by visiting this site: MES Advisory Board. If you have an interest in working with the Board or joining, please let us know.
There would not be an MES conference if not for the investment of our sponsors many of whom have become great partners over the years. Among our longstanding sponsors is HP Enterprise/Intel along with SaS, Scale Computing, SimpliVity, MexicoIT, ShoreTel, Ruckus (now part of Brocade), Information Builders and BrazilIT. We would like to thank them all.
The content at MES receives high marks from our CIO attendees in addition to our sponsors. So we have to offer special thanks to our content collaborator Gartner which sends many of its leading analysts to speak at MES. Gartner’s Jim Browning, Mike Cisek and Heather Colella all invest a great deal of time and energy to make sure the Gartner content resonates with our audience. Their goal is to make sure all presentations are tailored specifically to the midmarket. We are thankful to all of them. By the way, ,many of the key findings we and Gartner share on the state of the midmarket come from surveys conducted at both MES conferences.
Finally, we owe a debt of gratitude to our entire team that works tirelessly throughout the year to produce the MES conferences. Our audience recruitment, operations, event management, marketing, content and finance team all work hard to make sure MES provides the highest value to our attendees and sponsors.
Also, we are thankful to have you as readers of the MES newsletter. We appreciate your support and wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving as we kick off the holiday season.
