More than 600 senior IT leaders and technology suppliers gathered in Nashville, Tenn., at the Midsize Enterprise Summit Spring conference for a week of networking, keynotes and closed-door boardroom sessions. The event was capped off with a gala awards ceremony where the event’s best-performing IT vendors and tech suppliers were recognized.

Votes were cast by the more than 200 CIOs and IT leaders assembled who evaluated technology suppliers in 14 different categories. Vendors were recognized for their ability to articulate their midmarket value proposition during keynotes, boardrooms and in the exhibit hall. The winners and those companies nominated are often viewed as leaders in supplying IT solutions and services to midmarket customers.

Scale Computing, a stalwart in the midmarket, took home 3 MES Xcellence Awards, making it the night’s big winner.  HPE, which participates at the event with Intel, ShoreTel and Mimecast also took home multiple awards. The full winner list is below. Hyperconvergence vendor Scale and IT security supplier Mimecast took home the evening’s top awards for best of show.

Throughout the event attendees were asked to nominate and vote for companies that understood the unique challenges of the midmarket and offered effective solutions that accelerated ROI. The annual awards highlight the most distinguished vendor products, solutions and presentations during the MES event. Last year, a Best International Vendor was named for the first time. This year, MES continues to highlight the international market as the demands of the midmarket grow and more vendors continue to come from outside the U.S.

The Channel Company hosted the awards dinner and ceremony, with Lisa MacKenzie, partner and senior vice president, and Robert DeMarzo, senior vice president of event content and strategy, taking center stage to present the awards. Fourteen awards were presented, with special thanks given to the Gartner analysts and MES Board advisers who support this event. The full list of nominees and winners is below
