NexGen Cloud Conference to Highlight New Telecom Opportunities in the Cloud Era
Special Track Will Feature Telecom Content for IT Solution and Service Providers
Westborough, MA, October 26, 2015 – The Channel Company has announced a partnership with the Technology Channel Association (TCA) to host a special executive thought leader content track and exhibition area at the 2015 NexGen Cloud Conference & Expo dedicated to the needs of IT solution and service providers focused on cloud computing and managed services. The only vendor-neutral conference focused exclusively on helping solution providers reinvent themselves for the cloud era, NexGen Cloud takes place in San Diego from Dec. 9-10, with a closed-door executive session on Dec. 8.
The partnership and collaboration between The Channel Company and the TCA will for the first time bring together IT solution and service providers focused on business connectivity, cloud and managed services. Thought leaders from the TCA, the first nonprofit association serving indirect sales channels for telecom services, will appear on executive-led panels and presentations that are part of the exclusive Cloud and Connectivity track of NexGen Cloud.
Jeff Ponts, TCA President and COO/Executive Vice President of DataTel, will moderate a panel discussion titled “The Future of the Converged Partner” on Dec. 8, featuring converged partners Karin Fields of MicroCorp, John Hudson of Lumenate and Charles Stafford of Matrix.
The content track includes five special sessions designed to deliver peer content and expert advice from thought leaders handpicked by The Channel Company and the TCA. In addition, leading telecom and cable providers will be exhibiting at the conference as part of this special initiative designed for NexGen Cloud attendees.
“Cloud delivery of IT and communications has been a game-changer for the indirect sales channel,” said TCA’s Ponts. “TCA was formed to educate and promote a strong indirect channel for telecom services. Today, that means empowering a converged channel offering telecom, IT and cloud services. So we are excited to partner with The Channel Company to provide thought leadership and education on the vast opportunities for telecom and IT channels alike in offering cloud and connectivity.”
“Solution providers who have developed businesses delivering traditional telecom and cable services are now at a crossroads, and great opportunities await those that can adapt business models to the cloud,” says Robert DeMarzo, Senior Vice President of Event Content and Strategy at The Channel Company. “This year’s NexGen Cloud will be a great place to engage with the new breed of cloud-powered telecoms and understand ways they can go to market together.”
The 2015 NexGen Cloud Conference & Expo will be held at the San Diego Marriott & Convention Center following a closed-door executive day where leading cloud integrators will gather with vendors, developers and cloud suppliers. For more information and to register, go to nexgencloudcon.com.
