Channel veteran Harry Zarek, founder of Compugen, understands the solution provider industry like few other leaders. He started in the business while finishing his PhD in physics building PCs in the basement of his home. Along the way, he managed to survive and thrive by adapting to the market and moving up the value chain. Today, he oversees an organization with 13 offices, 1,500 employees and 700 technology partners. Zarek continues to refine CompuGen’s business model around services organically and with acquisitions like the one he made earlier this year when Compugen boldly purchased Metafore. Zarek will offer his views on the future of the solution provider industry along with the challenges and opportunities facing today’s leaders.
