The Largest Gathering of Midmarket CIOs and Senior IT Executives

MES is the Midmarket IT executive event of the year. No other event can offer IT decision makers with exclusive access to more than 80+ top vendors, seasoned Gartner analysts and an elite group of peers. Our unique format enables attendees to maximize their valuable time out of the office by building significant relationships and gaining critical knowledge – in one trip.  Working with Gartner, our strategic collaborator, enables us to deliver – without question – the industry’s best content available to the single largest annual gathering of midmarket CIOs. Expertly curated content includes demonstrations of cutting-edge products, services and new technology solutions designed to boost productivity and accelerate ROI. Senior-level IT executives leave this two and a half-day conference with the latest research, technology advancements and innovative best practices needed to build forward-looking IT strategies.

Take the Risk, Then Reap the Reward

IT is becoming a very risky business. That’s because risk-taking is a requirement today if IT and the business are going to succeed. Complacency and status quo are no longer tolerated in an industry moving so rapidly and ushering in a new generation of tech-savvy millennials. Standing still or overanalyzing potential outcomes are, in fact, the enemies of IT leaders. CIOs must take smart and well-thought-out chances if they are going to innovate and transform their organizations. Call it “The New Risk Factor,” where leaders must be flexible, innovative and create environments where breakthrough thinking thrives. This isn’t about managing risk, but elevating it to a level where the IT team can invent and create anything without fear. Sure, risk can get leaders into trouble. So understand where to place your bets--and where not to. The key to success is making sure that senior management understands the ultimate goal--revolutionizing businesses and processes. Those potential outcomes must be communicated in business terms, not IT jargon. So go ahead, take the risk or risk the future.

What Our Attendees Say

This summit was the best conference I've been to in a long while.  In less than three days I was able to find information that would have normally taken 6 months of web searching.  The best part was it put me face-to-face with the vendors I wanted to hear from and it wasn't all a sales ploy..”

― Michael Grosse, CTO, Sullivan University System

I have never been to an event that offered such great networking as well as group feedback on current products and trends. I would highly recommend MES events to anyone that is thinking about going.”

― Dane Holman, IT Director, McGowan & Co.
MES provides me with exposure to technology solutions that I would not otherwise have access to or may have considered. I get a chance to validate strategy with my peers while learning about their challenges and approaches.  Having direct access to Gartner industry insights is awesome.

Brian Celardo, IT Director, Birch Family Services
At first, I wasn't sure if my company and my situation would translate well to MES. Once I started networking with my peers at the summit, I found many others in almost identical business situations and facing the same issues I deal with - getting proper IT budget, how to efficiently manage a small IT workforce - and exchanging knowledge with them was invaluable..”

Robert Vinagray, CIO, Burma Bibas, Inc.
“MES is by far one of the best events for gathering information about the latest technology trends, discussing solutions for SMB's challenges, and last but not least finding out how various vendors can help you solve those challenges.”

Giving Back

Channel@Work is our way of giving back to the community that has given us so much over the past three decades. This charitable arm of The Channel Company’s events group is designed to bring the IT community together to connect and give back to the local communities that host our events.

Our team identifies local charities and coordinates efforts with our committed vendors, solution providers and  IT executives to contribute time and donations to make an impact for a worthy cause. At MES Spring 2017, we will be supporting Soles4Souls, headquartered in Nashville, TN. Soles4Souls creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.

We will be supporting their mission by holding a shoe drive onsite at MES.  So please remember to pack an extra pair of shoes (used, new, men's, women's, children's are all accepted!) and drop them off at the Soles4Soles collection bins located by the MES onsite registration desks.
